Introduction

Ingredients:
- 1 cup wheat grains (soaked overnight)
- ½ cup lentils (split chickpeas, moong dal, and masoor dal)
- 500g boneless beef or chicken
- 1 large onion (sliced)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Country Plus Foods Haleem Masala
- ½ cup yogurt
- ½ cup ghee or oil
- 6 cups water or stock
- Salt to taste
- Garnishing: Fried onions, lemon wedges, chopped coriander, green chilies, and ginger juliennes
Instructions:
- Cook the Meat: In a large pot, heat ghee/oil and sauté onions until golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute. Add meat, Country Plus Foods Haleem Masala, and salt. Fry for a few minutes, then add tomatoes and yogurt. Cook until the meat is tender.
- Prepare the Grains: Boil the soaked wheat and lentils until soft. Blend them into a thick paste.
- Combine Everything: Add the cooked meat mixture to the blended wheat-lentil paste. Stir well and cook on low heat for 30-40 minutes while stirring frequently.
- Final Touch: Adjust consistency with water if needed. Garnish with fried onions, coriander, lemon, green chilies, and ginger.
